3. Do you agree with Vardhana’s assessment that after her failed attempt at her first linear algebra exam at Stanford University that she “was no longer intelligent, and stripped of that label?” Who stripped her of that label? Was her assessment correct?
4.Vardhana presents intelligence as an “all or nothing” quality. Is this true of intelligence?
5.Does intelligence divide people? Or, does it bring people together in that all have their own intelligence that individuals in the society can draw from?
6.Although Vardhana identifies the traits of “female” and “Indian” as important parts of her identity, she does not seem to present these with the same weight as intelligence.
