This project will be carried through the entirety of the course. It is an exercise in using Javascriipt to make a complete game that can be delivered through a webpage! Most of the HTML and CSS will be provided to you. Yes you will be learning Javascriipt coding, but you will need to utilize your knowledge of HTML and CSS as well. By the end of the course, your game will be finished! Here are a few things to remember while completing your project assignments:
The concept of the game is that images will appear on the screen, the gamer will click the image, and the score will increase. Once the image is clicked the image will disappear. This is the concept, you will be building this in other projects, not in project 1!!! You need to know the concept so you know what you will be creating. Again, you will not be completing the game within one project. I suggest reviewing all the projects so you know what you will be working on and when.
All work must be submitted to the server. Work will not be graded unless it has been posted to your account. Keep each iteration of your project separate. The project will be broken down into several parts. Each part is numbered (eg. Project 3).Each part is graded separately.
As such, you should not overwrite each part with the next part’s work. Read the directions (provided) carefully and you will not have any issues. After completing a part, submit the Blackboard assignment. If you do not, it will NOT be graded.
In this project, you will ready your code for jQuery! jQuery can be downloaded from jQuery’s website (http://jquery.com) and installed locally on your server.
