(Do not include Delegation or Conflict Resolution as we have already covered these topics). Make it interesting and informational as your colleagues will be looking at it as well. Use photo’s, video’s, graphs or other colorful media so that your PowerPoint is not only interesting and informative but eye-catching as well. (No grey dark background as it’s hard to understand the wording). Remember to include citing from sources in the space below the slide capture.
The PowerPoint presentation can be from 6-8 slides in addition to a Title Page and a Reference Page. Assure the background and font color support readability. Please use correct English/grammar on the slides and also use the space below the slide, referred to as “Author’s Notes to present detailed related information expanding on content from actual slides, citing from references. Explain why it is of interest/relevance to your work setting practice.
The PowerPoint Presentation can be on any of the chapters that we have covered (except Delegation and Conflict Resolution since you have had an assignment already on those two topics). You will also present your PPP to your classmates for Discussion 4. You’ve had a lot of information on numerous topics presented in this class and this assignment allows you to expand on a topic of choice based on findings from evidence based literature and how it applies to your work practice. You are not just to report on a chapter, you are to present the topic and your analysis of the information presented in the chapter and other sources, using APA guidelines.
Follow the Power Point grading rubric for complete instructions and expectations. Create slide headings that correlate with the bullet sections of the PPP grading rubric.
There is also a rubric for discussion 4. Power Point presentations are another method for sharing knowledge and learning from peers. Make it interesting as your colleagues will also be looking at it and making comments.
Use of color, graphics, photos, clip art and other media is encouraged to capture the interest of your audience.
